The starch branching enzyme detection kit adopts the principle of iodine color development, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of SBE by detecting the absorbance change of enzymatic hydrolysate at the wavelength of 530nm. The kit contains amylopectin substrate, pullulanase and iodine-potassium iodide chromogenic agent, which can specifically detect the formation process of α-1,6- glycosidic bond. The detection sensitivity is 0.004 U/mL, which is suitable for studying the starch structure of endosperm and tuber tissue of grain, and provides a reliable tool for improving the processing quality of crops and analyzing the formation mechanism of resistant starch.
