The β -amylase detection kit adopts the principle of DNS colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of β-AL by detecting the absorbance appreciation of maltose at 540nm wavelength. The kit contains soluble starch substrate, DNS developer and citric acid buffer system, which can specifically detect the exohydrolysis process of α-1,4- glucoside bond. The detection sensitivity is 0.006 U/mL, which is suitable for starch degradation research of plant tissues and microbial samples, and provides a reliable tool for beer brewing and maltose production process optimization.
