Sucrose synthase (synthetic direction) detection kit adopts the principle of enzyme coupling method, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of SS-II by monitoring the decline rate of NADH absorbance at 340nm wavelength. The kit contains UDP- glucose, fructose substrate and coupled pyruvate kinase and lactate dehydrogenase, which can specifically detect the amount of UDP produced during sucrose synthesis. The detection sensitivity is 0.004 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of sugar metabolism in plant tissues and fruit samples and provides a reliable tool for the regulation of source-sink relationship and the analysis of sugar transport mechanism.
