The neutral invertase detection kit adopts the principle of DNS colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of neutral invertase in plant tissues by detecting the increase of reducing sugar of sucrose hydrolysate at the wavelength of 540nm. The kit contains sucrose substrate, DNS chromogenic agent and phosphate buffer system with pH 7.0, which can specifically detect the hydrolysis process of β -fructofuranoside bond under neutral conditions. The detection sensitivity is 0.004 U/g, which is suitable for the study of sugar metabolism in plant cytoplasm and vacuole region, and provides a reliable tool for the regulation of cell sugar homeostasis and the analysis of development stage transition mechanism.
