The soil urease detection kit adopts the principle of indophenol blue colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of urease in soil by detecting the color intensity of urea hydrolysate ammonia at the wavelength of 625nm. The kit contains urea substrate, phenol-sodium hypochlorite chromogenic agent and citric acid buffer system, which can specifically detect the hydrolysis process of amide bond. The detection sensitivity is 0.002 U/g, which is suitable for the study of nitrogen cycle in agricultural soil and provides a reliable tool for the analysis of urea conversion efficiency and ammonium nitrogen supply mechanism.
