The soil polyphenol oxidase detection kit adopts the principle of pyrogallol colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of polyphenol oxidase in soil by detecting the generation rate of purple gallic acid at the wavelength of 430nm. The kit contains pyrogallol substrate, phosphoric acid buffer system and termination solution, and can specifically detect the conversion process of phenolic substances to quinone. The detection sensitivity is 0.002 U/g, which is suitable for humification research of forest and farmland soil and provides a reliable tool for organic matter transformation and carbon cycle mechanism analysis.
