The kit for detecting neutral protease in soil adopts the principle of flint phenol colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of neutral protease in soil by detecting the color intensity of casein hydrolysate at 680nm wavelength. The kit contains casein substrate, folin phenol chromogenic reagent and phosphate buffer system with pH 7.0, which can specifically detect the hydrolysis process of peptide bonds under neutral conditions. The detection sensitivity is 0.002 U/g, which is suitable for the study of nitrogen cycle in agricultural soil and provides a reliable tool for organic nitrogen mineralization and soil fertility evaluation.
