The Pichia pastoris induction medium is a buffered complex medium containing methanol, used to induce the secretory expression of the target protein in recomant Pichia pastoris strains (such as GS115, KM71, SMD1168, etc.), such as the expression of proteins driven by the methanol induction AOX1 promoter. The medium contains phosphate buffer, with a controllable pH value, which can reduce protease activity.
