pB42AD-T Vector

pB42AD-T is based on the pB42AD vector and carries the SV40 large T antigen encoding sequence of the42 transactivation domain (AD). In the yeast two-hybrid system, the p53 protein can specifically interact with the known SV40 large T antigen, when this vector is cotransformed into yeast with a vector expressing the fusion protein of "activation domain (AD)-SV40 large T antigen" (such as p42AD-p53), it can activate the expression of reporter genes (such as lacZ), which is used as a positive control to verify the effectiveness of two-hybrid system and the accuracy of the protein interaction detection.
