pGreenII 0800-MASpro-LUC is based on the backbone of pGreenII 0800-L, carrying the luciferase (LUC) reporter gene regulated by the MAS (mannopine synthase) promoter. The MAS promoter has the activity of specific expression plant cells, and the expression intensity of the LUC gene driven by it can be quantitatively detected by the bioluminescent signal, which is suitable for studying the regulatory characteristics the MAS promoter, analyzing the influence of upstream and downstream regulatory factors on this promoter, and monitoring the dynamic expression of genes in specific physiological processes in plants as a reporter system.
