The kit for detecting alkaline xylanase in soil adopts DNS colorimetry principle, and the catalytic activity of alkaline xylanase in soil can be accurately quantified by detecting the increase of reducing sugar at 540nm wavelength. The kit contains birch xylan substrate, DNS chromogenic agent and glycine-sodium hydroxide buffer system, which can specifically detect the hydrolysis process of β-1,4- lignan bond under alkaline conditions. The detection sensitivity is 0.005 U/g, which is suitable for the study of carbon cycle in saline-alkali soil and provides a reliable tool for desertification control and organic matter transformation mechanism analysis.
