The isocitrate lyase detection kit adopts the principle of ultraviolet spectrophotometry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of ICL by monitoring the formation rate of hydrazone compounds formed by phenylhydrazine and glyoxylic acid at the wavelength of 324nm. The kit contains isocitrate substrate, phenylhydrazine capture agent and magnesium ion activator, which can specifically detect the formation process of glyoxylic acid. The detection sensitivity is 0.002 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of glyoxylic acid cycle in microorganisms and plant tissues, and provides a reliable tool for the analysis of oil metabolism and stress physiology mechanism.
