The shikimic dehydrogenase detection kit adopts the principle of ultraviolet spectrophotometry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of SDH by monitoring the absorbance rising rate of NADPH at the wavelength of 340nm. The kit contains shikimic acid substrate, NADP⁺ cofactor and specific reaction buffer system, which can monitor the formation process of 3- dehydroshikimic acid in real time. The detection sensitivity is 0.004 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of aromatic amino acid synthesis in plant tissue samples and provides a reliable tool for secondary metabolic engineering and disease resistance breeding.
