The detection kit of iron reductase adopts the principle of Fe2⁺rene-S colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of FCR by detecting the formation rate of characteristic absorption peak of Fe at the wavelength of 593nm. The kit contains ferric trichloride substrate, Ferene-S chromogenic reagent and ascorbic acid initiator, which can specifically monitor the transformation process of Fe reduction to Fe. The detection sensitivity is 0.003 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of iron absorption mechanism of plant roots and microbial samples, and provides a reliable tool for the development of plant nutrition and biological enrichment technology.
