pCP20 is an Escherichia coli-Streptomyces shuttle vector, containing a Streptomyces replicon and ampicillin and thiostrepton resistance genes for selection. The multiple cloning site facilitates the insertion of foreign genes, making it suitable for gene cloning and expression in Streptomyces, and it is commonly used in actinomycete genetic engineering research.
