pCMV-PEmax-P2A-BSD is a mammalian cell expression vector, with the CMV promoter driving PEmax expression. The P2A sequence mediates co-expression of the downstream BSD (blasticidin resistance gene). It enables concurrent expression of the target protein and the selection marker, making it suitable for expression of gene-editing related proteins and for selection of stable cell lines. It is a practical tool for gene function research.
