The total cholesterol content detection kit adopts the principle of enzymatic colorimetry, and synchronously detects the sum of free cholesterol and cholesterol esters at the wavelength of 546nm through a cholesterol esterase-cholesterol oxidase-peroxidase coupling reaction system. The kit contains cholesterol esterase, cholesterol oxidase, horseradish peroxidase and stable chromogenic agent, and the amount of hydrogen peroxide is quantified by Trinder reaction. The detection range is 0.10-20.00 mmol/L, which is suitable for automatic biochemical analyzer and provides standardized detection scheme for lipid metabolism research and cardiovascular disease risk assessment.
