The free cholesterol content detection kit adopts the principle of enzyme colorimetry, and specifically detects the content of unesterified cholesterol in serum or tissue samples at the wavelength of 546nm through a cholesterol oxidase-peroxidase coupling reaction system. The kit contains specific cholesterol oxidase, horseradish peroxidase and stable chromogenic agent, and the amount of hydrogen peroxide produced is quantified by Trinder reaction. The detection range is 0.05-10.00 mmol/L, which is suitable for automatic biochemical analyzer and provides standardized detection scheme for lipid metabolism disorder and cardiovascular disease risk assessment.
