pEarleyGate202-YC(3Flag-MCS) is a vector in the plant Bimolecular Fluorescence Complementation (BiFC) system and belongs to the YC (YFP C-terminal fragment) vectors. Its structural features include a 3×Flag tag to facilitate protein detection and a multiple cloning site (MCS) for inserting a gene of interest, allowing the target protein to be expressed as a fusion with the YFP C-terminal fragment. This vector needs to be used in conjunction with the corresponding YN (YFP N-terminal fragment) vector. When the fusion proteins expressed by the two vectors interact, the two YFP fragments reassemble to form a functional fluorescent protein, generating a fluorescence signal.
