The glycogen synthase detection kit adopts the principle of radioisotope method, and accurately quantifies the catalytic activity of GCS by detecting the radioactive intensity of 14C labeled UDP- glucose mixed with glycogen. The kit contains 14C-UDP glucose substrate, glycogen primer and specific reaction buffer system, which can distinguish glucose -6- phosphate dependent and independent isoenzymes. The detection sensitivity is 0.001 U/mL, which is suitable for the study of glycogen synthesis in liver and muscle tissues and provides a reliable tool for the mechanism analysis of diabetes and glycogen metabolism diseases.
