pM-Cas12a is a vector for plant CRISPR/Cas12a gene editing, carrying the Cas12a (C1) nuclease gene. The vector contains the strong 35S promoter to drive Cas12a expression, and the recognized PAM sequence can guide Cas12 to specifically cut the target DNA, while it has the ability of RNA processing, which is convenient for multi-gene editing. It is suitable for the research of gene loci that difficult to edit with Cas9 in dicotyledonous plants, simultaneous editing of multiple genes and exploration of gene functions.
