pS-cr:GFP is a crRNA-specific expression vector in the CRISPR/Cas12a gene editing system, carrying theRNA sequence of the target gene. The vector contains the U6 promoter to drive the transcription of crRNA, guiding the Cas12a protein to specifically cut the target gene. PAM sequence it recognizes is different from that of the Cas9 system (usually TTTV), which is suitable for gene knockout experiments, verifying the efficiency of Cas12 editing, or studying the function of the target gene by disrupting the expression of the target gene, and is applied in cell biology and gene editing specific research.
