The activity detection kit designed for the study of yeast ammonia metabolism and the function of transporters is based on the principle of yeast heterologous complement experiment. It contains a specific ammonia-deficient yeast strain, an expression vector and a matching reagent. The ammonia-deficient strain is inhibited in growth in low ammonia environment due to the lack of endogenous transporters. After transforming the target transporter gene into the strain, if the protein is active, it can complement the defectiveotype, intuitively reflect the transport capacity, and exclude other cation interference. It is suitable for the functional verification of transporters, the screening of ammonia metabolism genes and the of regulatory mechanisms.
