EY917 Yeast Phosphate Transport Assay Kit

A detection kit designed for the functional study of phosphate transporters, based on the principle of yeast heterologous complementation experiment. It contains a phosphate transport-deficient yeast strain, an expression vector, and a matching reagent. The phosphate-deficient strain is inhibited in growth in a low-phorus environment due to the deletion of the endogenous transport protein. After transforming the target transport protein gene into the strain, if the protein is active, it can complement the defective phen, intuitively reflecting the transport capacity and excluding other cation interference. It is suitable for functional verification of transport proteins, screening of phosphorus metabolism genes, and research on regulatory mechanisms.
