SF/-Ura Broth

SF/-Ura medium is the same as SD medium except glucose is replaced by fructose. Except for the difference in carbon source, other components the same as SD medium. The components include YNB (without amino acids), fructose, 17 kinds of amino acids and nucleotide molecules. YNByeast nitrogen base) provides growth factors and inorganic salts for yeast growth, and ammonium sulfate is used as inorganic nitrogen source and fructose is used as fermentation source. SF/-Ura Broth is a mixture of YNB, DO Supplement-Ura and fructose, and the Ura defect in DO Supplement-Ura used to screen strains that can express this component or to activate relevant reporter genes.
