The protopectin content detection kit adopts the principle of carbazole sulfuric acid colorimetry, and accurately quantifies the protopectin content in plant tissues by detecting the characteristic absorption peak of galacturonic acid at the wavelength of 530nm. The kit contains standard substance, digestive juice and chromogenic agent. Pectin polysaccharide is released by hot alkali digestion and developed specifically. The detection range is 0.05-2.0 mg/mL, which is suitable for cell wall composition analysis of fruits, vegetables and other plant samples, and provides a reliable tool for food quality evaluation and postharvest physiological research.
