BMM Medium (for Pichia pastoris)

It is a buffered minimal medium containing yeast nitrogen base, biotin, potassium phosphate buffer and methanol. It maintains an appropriate pH through the buffer system to avoid degradation of foreign proteins, induces the AOX1 promoter with methanol, is compatible with specific secretory expression vectors, and is used for protein expression of recombinant Pichia pastoris strains.
