Minimal Methanol Medium (for Pichia pastoris)

It is a buffered complex medium containing yeast nitrogen base, biotin, methanol and other components with a controllable pH value. Often used in conjunction with BMGY medium, it drives the secretory expression of target proteins in recombinant Pichia pastoris strains by inducing the AOX1 promoter with methanol, reduces protease activity, and is compatible with various commonly used expression vectors and strains.
