Minimal Methanol Histidine Medium (for Pichia pastoris)
![]() It is a basal medium composed of yeast nitrogen base, biotin and methanol as core components, supplemented with histidine. With definite components and no buffering agents, it is compatible with Pichia pastoris strains deficient in histidine dehydrogenase gene. Suitable for expression systems with histidine as the selection marker, it enables methanol-induced intracellular protein expression, especially for the expression of recombinant proteins with protease activity.
