PAD Agar Medium Kit (with 500mL of 20% Glucose Solution)

It consists of PAD agar basal medium and 20% glucose solution. The basal medium contains yeast nitrogen base, a mixture of various amino acids excluding adenine, biotin and agar, with glucose as an independent carbon source. Designed to avoid Maillard reaction between amino groups and glucose during sterilization, glucose should be added separately after filter sterilization. As a selective auxotrophic medium, it is suitable for adenine-deficient Pichia pastoris like PichiaPink, and used for screening and culturing transformants.
