Pyrophosphate: Fructose-6-Phosphate-1-Phosphoric Acid Transferase(PFP) Assay Kit

PFP catalyzes the conversion of 6-phosphofructose into 1,6-bisphosphofructose, which is then transformed into glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate under the action of aldolase and phosphoglycerate isomerase. Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate is then catalyzed by glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase and NADH to generate 3-phosphoglycerate, NAD, and phosphate. The change in absorbance at 340 nm reflects the level of PFP activity.
