pIMAY Vector

pIMAY is a plasmid vector for genetic engineering, containing a temperature-controlled replication origin, allowing the maintenance of the plasmid in the host bium at a specific temperature (such as 30°C), and not replicating at non-permissive temperatures (such as 37°C). It mainly used for genetic engineering experiments in gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, such as gene allelic exchange, gene editing, etc.
