Monodehydroascorbate Reductase(MDHAR) Assay Kit

MDHAR catalyzes the reduction of MDHA to generate AsA; it plays an important role in the redox metabolism of ascorbate. MDHAR catalyzes the reduction of MDHA by NADH to produce AsA and NAD+, where NADH has a characteristic absorption peak at 340nm, but NAD+ does not. The activity of MDHAR is calculated by measuring the rate of decrease in light absorption at 340nm.
