Neutral Proteinase(NP) Assay Kit

NP catalyzes the hydrolysis of proteins under certain temperature and neutral pH conditions. Due to its safety, non-toxicity, strong hydrolytic ability, and wide range of applications, neutral protease is commonly used in the production of food, feed, cosmetics, and nutritional health products. Under neutral conditions, NP catalyzes the hydrolysis of casein to produce tyrosine; under alkaline conditions, tyrosine reduces molybdenum acid compounds to generate tungsten blue; and there is a characteristic absorption peak at 680 nm.
