Bicinchonininc Acid Protein Content Assay Kit

The BCA (Bicinchoninic Acid) protein assay is a commonly used method for quantifying total protein content. BCA mixed with divalent copper ions forms the BCA working solution. Under alkaline conditions, proteins can reduce Cu2+ to Cu+, and Cu+ can form a purple complex with the BCA reagent. The product has a characteristic absorption peak at 562 nm, and the change in absorbance can quantitatively detect the protein concentration in the sample.
