JM110

JM110 strain has streptomycin sulfate resistance (StrR )；. It is a strain with deletion of methylation genes dam and dcm. The plasmid DNA extracted can be cut by endonucleases sensitive to the methylation of dam and dcm. LacI q lacZΔM15 enables JM110 to screen blue and white spots, but the transformation efficiency is not high, so it is generally not used for plasmid construction, but only suitable for plasmid transformation.
