XL1-Blue MRF`Kan

The XL1-Blue MRF`Kan strain is derived from XL1-Blue strain, is a deletion type of restriction enzyme system [∆(mcra) 183,∆(mcrcb-HSDSMR-MRR) 173], and has kanamycin resistance (KanR), and can transform plasmids with chloramphenicol or tetracycline resistance. The mutation of recA1 and endA1 is beneficial to the stability of inserted DNA and the extraction of high-purity plasmid DNA. The mutation of hsdR17 leads to the deletion of EcoK endonuclease system, which enhances the stability and extraction quality of foreign DNA.
