Thin Intracellular hsdR gene mutation can prevent cloned DNA from being digested by EcoK endonuclease system.Laciqz δ M15 gene on the F' appendage in XL1-Blue competent cells enables the modified host strain to identify the cloned plasmid by blue-white spot screening.
