YM4271 Chemically Competent Cell

The YM4271 strain, MATa type, can be directly transformed with plasmids or mated with MATα type yeast strains such as EGY48 and Y187 for protein interaction verification or library screening experiments. The transformation markers are: trp1, leu2, ura, and the reporter gene is: HIS3. It can be used for yeast two-hybrid, yeast single-hybrid, or heterologous protein expression experiments. The competent cells of YM4271 are produced using a special process and can be preserved at -80°C for 12 months. The pGADT7 plasmid (7988bp, Amp^R) shows a transformation efficiency of >10⁴ cfu/μg DNA.
