KM71H
KM71H
KM71H is a Pichia pastoris strain, belonging to eukaryotic cells. General antibiotics for prokaryotes, such as kana and ampicillin, are ineffective for yeast, so in order to prevent prokaryotes such as Escherichia coli from polluting yeast culture strains, some antibiotics such as ampicillin and kanamycin are often added to the culture medium to inhibit the pollution and growth of bacteria. The suitable growth temperature of Pichia pastoris is 28-30℃, and the temperature over 32℃ is harmful to protein expression and may lead to cell death. KM71H Pichia pastoris can grow in YPD medium.
