WAT11 Chemically Competent Cell
WAT11 Chemically Competent Cell
The WAT11 strain is derived from the W303-1B yeast strain, replacing the endogenous cytochrome P450 reductase in yeast with the cytochrome P450 reductase from Arabidopsis thaliana (Arabidopsis thaliana NADPH-cytochrome P-450 reductase / ATR1). This strain can induce the expression of the Arabidopsis P450 reductase, exhibiting higher P450 reductase activity and a more complete electron transfer system, and is widely used in research on various metabolic pathways or pathways involving P450. The selection markers (Transformation marker) are: trp1, leu2, his3, ura3, and it can be used in conjunction with the inducible plasmids pYES2, pESC-HIS/LEU/TRP/URA or constitutive expression plasmids pGBKT7/pGADT7, etc. The WAT11 competent cells are created using a special process and can be stored at -80°C for 12 months; the transformation efficiency of the pYES2 plasmid (5857 bp, AmpR) is >104 cfu/μg DNA.
