YM4271
YM4271
YM4271 is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain used in experiments of yeast single hybrid, two hybrid and heterologous protein expression. Its mating type is MATa, and its genotype background is multiple auxotrophs (such as Ura3-52, HIS3-δ 200, Leu2-3, 112, TrP1-901, etc.), and GAL4 and GAL80 genes are deleted. This strain can be used as a reporter strain, and its reporter gene is HIS3. YM4271 can directly transform plasmid, or perform mating operation with MATα strains (such as EGY48 and Y187) to verify protein interaction or screen library. The transformation efficiency of competent cells is usually higher than 10 cfu/μ g DNA by pGADT7 plasmid detection.
