YPH499 Chemically Competent Cell

This strain is a MATa type of brewing yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) with the genotype: MATa ura3-52 lys2-801_amber ade2-101_ochre trp1-Δ63 his3-Δ200 leu2-Δ1. It is suitable for yeast protein recombination and metabolic pathway analysis, and its defective gene design can avoid interference from vector markers, supporting high-efficiency transformation of plasmids such as pGADT7. The YPH499 competent cells are made using a special process and can be stored at -80°C for 12 months, with a transformation efficiency of >10⁴ cfu/μg DNA (measured using the pYES2 plasmid as a standard).
