Wheat Leaf Protoplast Preparation and Transformation Kit Plus

This kit is specifically designed for the leaves of 7-14 day-old wheat seedlings and includes a full set of reagents, such as enzyme solution, W5 solution, MMg solution, and PEG transformation solution. Based on 20 mL of enzyme solution, it can be used for 5-10 preparations and 25-50 transformation reactions and can be stored at 4°C. It uses cellulase and hemicellulase to degrade the cell wall; the enzyme solution is freshly prepared, treated in a 55°C water bath, and used with vacuum pre-treatment and light-protected enzymatic digestion steps to ensure high yield and activity of protoplasts. The transformation efficiency can reach 85%, and the prepared protoplasts can be directly used for studies such as protein subcellular localization and protein interaction verification. The operation process is clear, requiring no complex equipment, providing a reliable tool for homologous research in wheat molecular biology.
