Thermophilic anaerobic culture medium
Thermophilic anaerobic culture medium
Thermophilic anaerobic bacteria culture medium is a special culture medium for the separation and culture of extreme thermophilic anaerobic bacteria. Its basic components are peptone and yeast extract, the key additives are sodium thiosulfate or elemental sulfur as electron acceptor, and cystine as reducing agent. The culture medium supports the growth and metabolism of thermophilic anaerobic bacteria (such as Thermopsis) through high temperature (usually 55-85℃) anaerobic conditions and sulfur metabolism system, and is a special tool for the development of microbial resources in high temperature environment.
