Mycobacterium Hemin medium

Mycobacterium Hemin medium is a solid medium for selective culture of mycobacteria. Its basic component is Middlebrook 7H10 agar base, and its key additives are Hemin and oleic acid-albumin-glucose complex. This culture medium provides the necessary iron source for mycobacteria through hemin, and promotes the slow growth of mycobacterium tuberculosis by combining with selective inhibitors.
