XPS medium

XPS medium is a liquid medium for selective separation of Xanthomonas sp. Its basic components are sucrose and glutamic acid, and its key additives are bromothymol blue and actinomycetes ketone. The culture medium can promote the growth of Xanthomonas sp. and produce extracellular polysaccharide through specific carbon-nitrogen ratio and inhibitor combination, making the culture medium blue and sticky, and it is a standard tool for the detection and identification of plant pathogens.
