FYCS medium

FYCS medium is a liquid medium for selective culture of cellulose-degrading fungi. Its basic component is inorganic salt solution, and the key additive is filter paper or microcrystalline cellulose as the only carbon source. This culture medium can select microorganisms that can secrete cellulase through cellulose substrate, and is used to screen high-efficiency cellulose degradation strains, which is an important tool for biomass conversion and renewable energy development and research.
