Thiobacillus A2(T3) medium is a liquid medium for selective culture of thiooxidants. Its basic components are sodium thiosulfate and sodium bicarbonate, and its key additives are ammonium phosphate and trace element solution. This culture medium promotes thiobacillus to oxidize sodium thiosulfate into sulfate through neutral environment, which leads to pH decrease and barium sulfate precipitation.
