Spirulina medium is a liquid medium for the separation and culture of Spirulina. Its basic components are bovine serum albumin and Tween 80, and its key additives are the mixture of long-chain fatty acids, glutathione and special vitamins. This culture medium supports the proliferation of leptospirosis, Borrelia burgdorferi and other pathogens by providing lipids and antioxidant substances necessary for the growth of spirochetes, and is a standard tool for laboratory diagnosis and pathogenic mechanism research of leptospirosis.
